"The Giant Horse of Oz" is the twenty-second book in the "Land of Oz" series and the eighth written by Ruth Plumly Thompson. The story follows Prince Philador and his allies as they embark on a quest to save the Ozure Isles from the evil witch Mombi and her fire-breathing monster, Quiberon.

Published by the Reilly and Lee Co. in 1928, this first edition is bound in red cloth and includes 12 color illustrations by John R. Neill that bring the magical world and its inhabitants to life.
