New York: Delacorte Press, 1980. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. This is a stated first printing of the fiirst edition. The interior of the book is crisp and clean. The is a small booksale stamp on the front free end paper, but no other marks or wear. The cream and burgundy covers are fresh, with just a bit of wear at the top and bottom of the spine. The top right hand corner of the dust jacket flap has been clipped, but overall the jacket is in very good condition. The top right-hand corner of the flap has been clipped, Synopsis: "Another adventure of Steve and Sinbad," When Steve witnesses the kidnapping of Gunther Waldorf, a famous ecologist, Sheriff Landry is unconvinced, more so after he and Steve pay a call on Dr. Waldorf and find him happily at home. Puzzled, Steve Shrugs his shoulders, though doubts continue to nag. Life in his hometown on Long Island is taking too many queer turns, especially around the old house on Hellsfire Street. Then his good friend mrs. Teska calmly tells him she's going to die at the request of her dead sister, Sophie, and the ghost of a pirate wakes hime on night to ask a favor.
