Foil label shows a few tiny nicks and wrinkles; just about fine.. 12mo, unpag. chapbook on yellow paper in marbled wrappers with printed foil label on front, saddle-stitched;. Copy G out of a total edition of forty-four copies, with those numbered A-J being bound in "blueish" paper. One of Prokosch's famous "Butterfly Books" that he printed himself on handpress for private distribution. Inscribed by Prokosch at the front: "For Josephine with my love and gratitude! Frederic, Christmas 1960". Josephine Crane was a prominent New York socialite, a co-founder of the Museum of Modern Art, and the hostess of a regular literary salon at her Fifth Avenue apartment , where Prokosch was a frequent guest.
