London: Longman, 1816. Half-Leather. Good. Half leather with marbled covers. Fading on the spine a bit, covers rubbed, wear at the ends and board edges. The hinges are in good order. The text is complete, tidy internally, toning to the pages, mostly minor marking, stain to the corner of the frontispiece, and slightly to the top corner of the title, faded out after that. 20th century ink inscription on the endpaper (Madeleine Gavin, Ballina, 1963). Pages; (10), 216, (209-216*), 217-250, (4). The section marked * is a poem called Ode to the Memory of Burns which must have been a late addition, 4 pages of publisher ads at the rear, half title at the start, copper plate frontispiece plate drawn by R. Cook. Size: 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall
