GEORGE W. BUSH (b. 1946). Bush was the Forty-Third President. ALAN KRANOWITZ (1941-2002). Kranowitz was a legislative official and lobbyist who worked most closely with the Reagan administration. TLS. 1pg. June 11, 2002. The White House. A typed letter signed “G W Bush” as President. On White House letterhead, Bush sent condolences to the widow of Alan Kranowitz: “Laura and I are sorry to learn of the loss of your husband, Alan. We know what a difficult time this is for you and your family, and we send out heartfelt sympathy. We hope you will be sustained by your faith and the love and support of your family and friends. Please know that you are in our prayers. God bless you.” The letter is in very fine condition with a very large autograph.
