Melbourne, Victoria, Australia: Robertson & Mullens, 1968. 64pp. B/white subject portrait frontis, plus 14 pages of b/white plates. Book clean, square. Spine firm, gilt title there-on. Leaves clean and unmarked. Blue buckram boards have a small area of surface dulling to rear panel. Housed in plain slipcase which is noticeably marked. "Copyright 1968 by Robertson & Mullens Pty. Ltd. who have permitted J.C. Stephens Pty. Ltd. to produce this edition, limited to one hundred copies for their friends, printed on Abbey Mills text and bound in buckram to celebrate Christmas 1968. This copy is numbered 35" Biography of George Robertson (1825-1898) who was a notable publisher in Melbourne in the latter part of the nineteenth century, and an even more notable wholesale and retail bookseller. Contents include: Foreword (George Ferguson). Preface. George Robertson of Melbourne. Index. Item weight approx. 330g.
