Moderate scuffing and edgewear to boards, corners bumped and worn through. A tiny hole the size of a pin head goes from the rear board through the book to page 367. Numerous table, charts and figures. Silver metallic lettering to black rectangle box on spine and front board. Tan and rust cloth-covered boards. Map of Sedimentary Basins of the Eastern Hemisphere and Western Henisphere to front endpapers. 703 pp. with reference notes, appendix, and index. Clean, bright. Written in five parts : Introduction, The Reservoir, The Petroleum Pool, The Geologic History of Petroleum, and Applications. "This book is intended primarily for students who have had the basic courses in geology, and also for petroleum geologists who are actively exploring for oil and gas pools," (preface).
