Synopsis

This tale was edited post-translation from the original French by a yet-unknown Ken Follett, and was originally authored by three French journalists, whose pseudonym is Rene Louis Maurice. The Gentlemen of 16 July (also published as The Heist of the Century , and Under the Streets of Nice ), is the true story of an astounding bank robber, Albert Spaggiari, a man whose reputation was not unlike Robin Hood.
