New York: Mason Brothers. Good. 1864. First Edition. Hardcover. Includes an account of his capture of New Orleans. Inner hinges cracked, spine wrinkled, light dampstain to several pages. Two old private library stamps on end paper and also an old large owner name in pencil on end paper (Buffalo, NY) , old small owner name in ink at top of title page: "James A. Pence, 1863" which does not interfere with any printing, a few pages with marginal tears not affecting text; front cover outer hinge split about half way, but remainder is holding. Ref: Dornbusch III 2779 ; Maps, frontis illustration; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 649 pages .
