The authors thus classed chronologically will also be found in an alphabetical index at the end of the present volume, so that looking up any name will be made as easy as possible. Lastly it has been thought necessary to give an index of the regions, districts, and other frequently met with localities, with cross references to those writers of interest with regard to each of them. Completeness was aimed at, as much as accuracy. The map at front indicates the authors covered & the map at the rear locations referred to."* This is a NEAR FINE copy of the 1st./1st. with absolutely minimal age & shelf wear.*
