His professional career was with the Northern Pacific and Sante Fe Railroads. John died 16 February 1924 in Chicago, Illinois. His wife Elizabeth died 30 July 1942 also in Chicago. Both were buried in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Ancestor John William Kenrick (1605-1686) emigrated from England to Newton, Massachusetts and married twice. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived in Massachusetts, Illinois, Minnesota, Ohio, Alabama, New Hampshire, Minnesota and elsewhere.
