London: Printed by M. Jenour for John Nicholson and Robert Knaplock, 1707. Expanded edition. Leather bound. Very Good. 878pp. Folio [40 cm] Rebacked with a decorative gilt stamped leather spine. Decorative gilt stamped borders on the boards. Gilt turn-ins. Marbled text block edges and endpapers. New endbands. Title page, printed in red and black, professionally restored and backed. Periodic chapter head vignettes. Errata at rear. Ex-library (legitimately deaccessioned) with library numbers on front board, else no other library markings. Extremities moderately rubbed. Bottom fore-edge corner of rear board chipped, with small loss. Previous owner's bookplate on front pastedown. A couple of marginal repairs. Pages very bright. ***Will require extra postage due to size and weight. With lovely copper-plate engravings. Some engravings attributed to Richard Gaywood. 40 single-page plates, 19 double-page plates, 1 folding plate. Numerous genealogical tables.
