FIRST EDITION (1908), Nister No.1890, miniature book approximately 80 x 65 mm, 3¼ x 2½ inches, pale brown boards with cream leaf pattern and gilt title, bevelled edges, cream parchment spine, all edges gilt, red and black half-title and title page, coloured frontispiece and 8 colour plates on coated paper, (84) pages, every one printed red and black with a large decorated initial and red floral decorations (see images). Designed in England, printed in Bavaria. A couple of small mid brown stains to top of spine, a few tiny minor marks to lower cover, tiny corner cut from front endpaper, some very faint staining to front endpapers. A very good copy.
