Compiled in 1932 by C. G. Ames, Assistant Judge of the High Court of Nigeria, (formerly District Officer). Recently Abridged and Revised. Published by Jos Native Administration. First Published in 1934 Printed in Nigeria by the Niger Press at Jos. 8vo. 358pp. 2 folding maps, appendices. In 3 parts,- Province in General, - Units of the Province, - Economic and Miscellaneous. Two maps are called for and are often not present however in this copy both are present, the coloured folding map is loose, and the 2-colour folding ethnological map of Plateau Province is tipped onto the rear inside board. The work was edited by H. Hale Middleton. A very nice copy of the first edition in the publisher's blue cloth.
