About This Item
Privately Printed, 1980-01-01. Hardcover. Very Good. 1980 C.M. Rose (Cullman, Alabama), 8 7/8 x 11 inches tall red buckram cloth hardcover, no dust jacket (as issued), gilt lettering to front cover and spine, index, xiv, 457 pp. Very slight soiling and rubbing to covers. Front board very slightly bowed. Ink prior owner name to upper margin of blank front free-endpaper. Otherwise, a very good copy - clean, bright and unmarked - of this uncommon genealogy. After his death, she moved to Paulding County, Georgia with their two sons. In 1845, Martha married Martin Moody (1813-ca. 1860), who had three sons. They had three children together. Descendants are scattered throughout the U.S. In addition to hundreds and hundreds of Roses, other surnames which receive especially extensive coverage include (among many others): Ankrim, Atcheson, Bethune, Brown, Campbell, Crowley, Davis, Edmonston, Ford, Hunter, Johnson, Jones, Lewis, Lyle, Miller, Moody, Morgan, Ohmstead, Peck, Redfearm, Rogers, Scott, Silvers, Smith, Stewart, Van Horn, Walker, Welch, Wheadou, White, Williams, Wolston.
