About This Item
Cleveland: World Publishing, 1944. ".a novel of extraordinary power.Rough and tough and hard as nails!" (from the dustjacket flap). Originally published in 1933, this is a wartime reprint (the Fifth Printing) under the Tower Books label. (Since it has a new introduction by Farrell, it could also be stretched to call in a "First Edition Thus.") Dark blue cloth binding, with light blue lettering on the spine. Clean text; 250 pages. POS on theFFEP; price label on rear paste-down. A bit rubbed. The attraction of this book is the tremendously evocative dustjacket art, which is now in an archival plastic protector; a couple of chips, but still with atmosphere! Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Reprint. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good.
