Fine in a Fine slipcase and quite uncommon in this exceptional condition. W. A. Dwiggins. Five octavo (5-1/2" x 8") volumes in a green basket-weave cloth. A new translation by Jacques le Clercq, thought by many to be the finest, most literal, and most complete translation. Copy #509 of 1500 printed by Southworth-Anthoensen in two colors, and designed and decorated by W. A. Dwiggins who has SIGNED the set on the colophon page. Scarce Monthly Letter laid in along with an even scarcer piece we have not previously seen: a reproduction of a 3-page letter by Dwiggins about designing the book printed on one large sheet folded into three to match roughly the size of the Monthly Letter
