Eighth edition, corrected and enlarged, with a new preface by the author plus a twelve-page 'Complete Description of the Implements of Gardening' which was not included in any prior edition. 8vo. [ii], 366pp. Bound in half-calf with marbled paper-covered sides, with raised bands and gilt lettering and rules. Some soiling and spotting to the edges, and the engraved frontispiece carefully secured with cloth tape. Some damp marking to the lower margins of the perhaps half of the text leaves. A nice bright copy..
