(Cape Town: Maskew Miller, c. 1950). Small 4to; original green cloth; pictorial dustwrapper; pp. viii + 63 + (29); 14 monochrome plates. Dustwrapper rubbed and edgeworn; previous owner's inscription and ownership label on front free endpaper; scattered light foxing. Good condition. "There are delightful accounts of happy plant-hunting expeditions, with glimpses of the flowers in their natural haunts whence many were transplanted to join the company already established on that sunny bird-land slope at Banhoek." .
