Numerous line-drawn, intext illustrations by Ernest Petts. Book clean and square. Bright gilt title over lightly bumped spine. Plain, original green cloth boards trivially bumped on foredge corners, else very good. Text-block top edge tinted, leaves clean and unmarked. Art-illustrated, laminated dustjacket lightly edgeworn, and colour faded on spine, plus minimal laminate bubbling. This stand-alone, Volume 4 in the 'Kew Series' of British Plants focusses on ornamental trees and shrubs.
