Illustrated frontispiece and the other four illustrations within the text have been drawn by Kahil Gibran. Blue coloured boards with gilt coloured titles to the back strip. Illustrated dustwrapper with white coloured titles to the front panel and backstrip. Though not poetry, this book has the same feel as the author's other books – a contemplation of what it is to be human.  Softening of the back strip edges with a little rubbing of the book corners. Age toning of the text block edges and panels with gift inscription to the top edge of the half title page. Chipping to the dustwrapper corners and back strip edges. Small strips to either side of the top back strip edge. Heavy rubbing of the dustwrapper edges, follow the creases and of the back strip itself.
