Light edge and shelf wear to the dust jacket. Gift inscription written on the right front flyleaf - "For dear Betty & Nash a souvenir of my first Virginian home this book about "yards." (transcription may not be accurate) Russell October 15, 1966." below the inscription is a yellow sticky note that reads - "The signature is that of Russell Sage, Distinguished English Landscape Architect, and a Good Friend of Many Years. N. C." A laid in copied obituary is about "Ignacio "Nash" J. Castro" a former employee of the National Park Service.
