New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1942. First printing (Scribner A on the copyright page). 208 pp including index and illustrations. There is some soiling in the joints. The endpapers are foxed. The leaves are lightly toned. An otherwise unmarked copy in a square, tight binding. The dust jacket is edgeworn, with chipped spine ends and several tears. Scuffed along the joints. There is a small stain on the rear panel. The price, $2.50, is present on the front flap. In Brodart archival dust jacket protector.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Fair. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
