London: Country Life Limited, 1948. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Very Good/Fair. First edition and printing. Foreword by Bernard Darwin. In very good minius lime green cloth boards, white titles to front and spine. The boards are quite clean, with light mark to top of spine; with collapsed hollow due to cracked hinge; spine ends and corners a little bumped. Unmarked end papers. Fairly clean cut edges. The text block is tight, straight and clean, very good plus, and illustrated with many b/w photos and some sketches. No dedications etc. Overall condition is very good minus. In fair tan dust jacket with white titles and b/w photo of golf player to front. The jacket is unmarked, edges very worn with many small open and closed tears. Not price clipped. Inside plastic cover.

London: Country Life, 1948. A first edition, first printing published by Country Life in 1948. A very good book inscribed on the front free endpaper 'To Fred Taylor/with best wishes/sincerely/Henry Cotton/1949'. Fading to the spine and to the edges of the front panel. In the fragile and rare dust wrapper which has a large tear (repaired) to the front panel. With chips to the spine tips (larger at the top) and to the corners. Good example only. Rare signed and in the dust wrapper.
