In tall plumed hat, luxurious cape, doublet and hose. Copperplate engraving by J. Thornthwaite after an illustration by James Roberts in Bell's British Theatre, London, April 9, 1781. Page size 21.5 x 14cm, plate size 17.5 x 11.5cm Strong impression on laid paper, slight staining and age toning.
