From the collection of Walter Lebermann. Handstamp, "Lebermann Karlsruhe," to upper wrapper and both titles.

Occasional show-through and offsetting; outer bifolium of [Clavecin] part soiled, repaired, and reinforced at spine, with large stain to center of title. A later edition. Gérard p. 34. Not in BUC. RISM B3030 (no copies in the U.S.).

"The most important product of [Boccherini's] visit to Paris [in 1767] was the set of six sonatas for keyboard with violin accompaniment op.5, which Boccherini dedicated to the amateur keyboard player Anne Louise Boyvin d'Hardancourt Brillon de Jouy, and which was distributed in numerous copies and editions into the 19th century."
