About This Item

Crowood., 1987. 1st. Ed.. pp.184 with colour and b/w. illus. 4to. From Eric Hoskings library with reduced-size copy of his bookplate loosely inserted. Signed by both June Chatfield and F.W. Frohawks daughter, Valezina Bolingbroke. Fine hardback in fine dw. Very unusual indeed to have both these signatures. Chatfields book is a must have for Frohawk enthusiasts. Valenzina Bolingbroke was a great admirer of her father and wrote a memoir about her father which is a delightful account with some charming pesonal ancedotes.
