The Foundation was led by LaRouche folks but had actual scientists among its membership and was seen as a supporter of the nuclear industry. In the 1980s it was shut down to pay court fees after it emerged that the foundation had been channeling money fraudulently into other LaRouche activities. Contents is a combination of hard science and the LaRouche movement's trademark conspiracy material.
