This catalog was prepared to accompany the exhibition that opened at the Brooklyn Museum in November 1997 and ran to February 1998. This was the first large exhibition of the designs of George Hunzinger (1835- 1898), one of the most innovative and influential 19th century American furniture designers. 10 color plates + over 200 black & white photographs and reproductions of pages from trade catalogs, interiors with Hunzinger furniture, etc. Bibliography. 12" high X 8" wide, 168 pages.
