Heavy liquid staining to spine. Pages are lightly tanned with mild foxing to endpapers and text block edges. Former owner's inscription to front free endpaper, with water staining and a few small nicks along text block edge. Minor dog-eared corners. Water staining to edges of front pages. Occasional thumb-marking present throughout. Slightly cracked gutter with binding remaining firm. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with notable bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Heavy tanning to spine and edges, with visible crushing to spine ends. Heavy liquid staining to spine and upper edge. Book has a forward lean.
