A. S. Barnes & Company, 1945. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1945. Second Printing. 224 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth with black lettering to front board and spine. Black and white photographs and illustrations throughout. Slight cracking to gutters, however binding remains firm. Pages are lightly tanned with mild foxing throughout. Pencil inscription to front endpaper. Stamp to rear pastedown. Boards have light bleach spotting, more prominent to rear, and moderate shelf-wear, with noticeable corner bumping and sunning to top edge. Spine ends have moderate crushing with minor splitting, and noticeable sunning. Lettering remains clear. Book has a slight forward lean.
