Here on offer is a very nice copy of P. G. Wodehouse's comic novel, Full Moon, the 6th installment in the Blandings Castle series. This is a 1st UK trade edition, 1st printing published in 1947 by Herbert Jenkins Limited of London. The dust jacket is protected from further wear by a Mylar sleeve. This is funny stuff.

****************************************************************************************************************************

" 'Full Moon' is a novel by P. G. Wodehouse, first published in the United States by Doubleday & Company on 22 May 1947, and in the United Kingdom by Herbert Jenkins on 17 October 1947. It is the sixth full-length novel to be set at the beautiful but trouble-ridden Blandings Castle, home of Lord Emsworth. . . .

The book was adapted as a radio drama by Douglas Young for BBC Radio 4. The radio drama first aired in four parts in April 1999, featuring Giles Havergal as both Lord Emsworth and Lady Hermione Wedge, Paul Birchard as Tipton Plimsoll, Alexander Morton as Colonel Wedge, Lucy Paterson as Veronica Wedge, Matthew Whittle as both Freddie Threepwood and Pott the pig man, Gerda Stevenson as Prudence Garland, Simon Tait as both Bill Lister and the Empress of Blandings, and Derwent Watson as both Galahad Threepwood and Beach."

"When the moon is full at Blandings, strange things happen: among them the commissioning of a portrait of The Empress, twice in succession winner in the Fat Pigs Class at the Shropshire Agricultural Show. What better choice of artist, in Lord Emsworth's opinion, than Landseer. The renowned painter of The Stag at Bay may have been dead for decades, but that doesn't prevent Galahad Threepwood from introducing him to the castle - or rather introducing Bill Lister, Gally's godson, so desperately in love with Prudence that he's determined to enter Blandings in yet another imposture. Add a gaggle of fearsome aunts, uncles and millionaires, mix in Freddie Threepwood, Beach the Butler and the gardener McAllister, and the moon is full indeed."

The above text was taken from, respectively, Wikipedia and Harry N. Abrams publisher (via Google Books).

This handsome copy would be a worthy addendum to your 1st editions library.
