Simla: Government Monotype Press, 1907. 1st . Hardcover. Good. First printing, numbered No. 202 in gilt on the top-right corner of the leather binding. Stamped in red: "For Official Use Only" on title page. Pp. xix, 591, 8 illustrations/views/maps, appendices, two folded maps in pockets, as called for in the index, quarto format in three-quarters calf binding, with dark green linen boards, gilt spine title on leather label, raised bands. A firmly bound copy, all original with no repairs. The front tips are worn, but not bad. The green cloth a is a bit rubbed. The backstrip is starting to split a bit on one side, about 3", but not at risk of coming loose. There is only one spine label present; we are not certain if there were more originally. Internally there are no tears, no owner's names or markings to the text. The maps are Very Good with light wear. A very presentable copy of this rare item. We have 3 other volumes from this series.
