First edition. 8vo. Boards. Pp. 172. Previous owner's large initial stamp (presumably) on last paste-down end-paper; dj has two small tears, one about an inch at the fold; else near fine copy. Addition, laid in is a 20 year old bill of sale for this book, sold by a dealer in England.
Derek Nimmo was particularly known for his appearances, during the 1960s, on the BBC radio panel show, Just a Minute, in which he traded barbs with Clement Freud and Kenneth Williams. Episodes of this are now available on the internet.
