He escaped from Greece and ultimately ended up in Palestine. Frustrated with the curtailment of his active service due to injuries, he joined the 2/13th Aust. Infantry with the lower rank of Corporal, fighting in the battle at El Alamein. He subsequently fought in New Guinea. . 1st Edition. Hardback.
