London: George Newnes, 1898. First edition. hardcover. Good-/Very Good for age/No. Hardcovers, no jackets. Good-/Very Good for age. Both volumes with wear and bumping to ccorners, somewhat exposing cardboard; wear and some bumping to bottom board edges; scuffing to spine edges; wear to head and foot of spines; some wear to covers; foxing to page edges; pages browned; some cracking to hinges. Vol. 1 with blue dot sticker pasted and taped to bottom of spine; some scuffing/nicking/closed tears to bottom edge of map; large closed tear to middle left of map, taped back together. Vol. 2 with discoloration and scuffing to bottom edge of spine from removal of blue dot; couple of pages with some scuffing/nicks since they weren't fully cut to size with the rest of the book.
