Light mottling on front covers and previous owner's name on front free end papers. Otherwise, both volumes are perfect: binding straight and tight, gilt lettering brilliant, all corners sharp, no markings (except as noted above), no creases, no tears. Not ex lib, no remainder marks. Notes. Illustrations. Index. Vol. 1= 532 pages. Vol. 2= 634 pages.
