Typical sixties sleaze published by William Hamling's vaious publishing companies, notably Corinth, Greenleaf, and others. J. X. Williams was a "house pseudonym" used hide the true identities of authors who included Robert Silverberg, Harry Whittington, John Jakes, and many lesser-known writers. The actual author of THE FRENCH WAY has not yet been identified. The book is clean and tight, with light, uniform toning of pages and perhaps slight fading of cover colors.. First Edition. Paperback. Very Good. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall. Book.
