Handbills advertising "Paul Robeson: The Great Forerunner" and "A Freedomways Reader" laid in. Includes a series of short critical essays, "Black writers' views of America," with contributions by Angela Davis, Carole Gregory, Loyle Hairston, Joyce Ladner and Sarah Wright.
