About This Item

Stated First Edition/First Printing with the complete number line; A Very Good book in a Very Good dust jacket; SIGNED by the author to the front free paper in black marker. A handsome copy of this Travis McGee novel, enhanced by MacDonald's signature. This copy is in very good condition with a square, tight binding, sharp gold lettering over black and red boards, and clean, white pages throughout; the book does show some age-spotting to the exterior text block and some minor rubbing to the board edges, else near fine or better. Housed in a crisp and clean very good dust jacket that shows mild rubbing to the edges, a couple of minor creases to the flaps, and a light age-toning to the panel edges and flaps. Overall, a very sharp copy, presentable and collectible; Not remaindered, not price clipped, not ex-library; in a protective Mylar cover and will ship in a sturdy box.

Synopsis

Free Fall in Crimson (1981) is the nineteenth novel in the Travis McGee series by John D. MacDonald. In the plot McGee sets out to investigate the death of an ailing millionaire, and encounters a motorcycle gang, pornographic movie-makers, and balloonists. The book also revives the character of Lysa Dean from The Quick Red Fox, an early novel in the series.
