Reviews
On Sep 4 2008, Mcarney said:
I found this book very interesting, informative and very moving. The language and mode of expression was somewhat heavy going at times but this did not detract from the interesting subject matter. There was so much that I had not previously known about the background to the experience of the Jews in Germany and Holland and the events in Germany leading up to World War 11. The shocking treatment of the Jews at the hands of the Nazis and their supporters was brought home to readers in a more personal way as the author enabled us to experience their trauma through the lives of his own relatives. There is much more to be said but I hope these few words will encourage others to read this fine book and be moved as I was.
