About This Item

Boston: Little, Brown & Company. Very Good. 1895. 1/2 leather. 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 1895 Little, Brown & Company. 12 volumes, complete thus. Uniformly bound in 1/2 green morocco over marbled paper sides. Top edges gilt. Leather color shifted at spine to olive green; raised bands over several volumes scuffed and rubbed. Here and there some rubbing and scuffing to bottom front corner tips. Some few pages in nearly every volume bear the remanants of an ill-advised attempt to mend short tears with old scotch tape; short edge tears to scattered leaves caused by roughly opened pages. Old tape had ossified and discolored leaving stains to page edges and light offset stains to adjoining pages. Otherwise snug and attractive. Illustrated with maps. Volumes not indivisually numbered: The Oregon Trail : The Conspiracy of Pontiac Vols I & II : Pioneers of France in the New WorldI: The Jesuits of North America : La Salle and the Discovery of the Great West : The Old Regime in Canada : Count Frontenac and New France under Louis XIV : A Half-Century of Conflict Vols I & II : Montcalm and Wolfe Vol I & II. Overall G++ thus. ... Oversize book may require additional charges for expedited or international shipping. .
