London, circa 1920s. Original Pencil Drawing on Paper . No Binding. Very Good. Image: 10 1/2 x 14 1/2 inches (Framed: 22 x 29 inches). This original pencil drawing by Edward Tennyson Reed was created for The Bystander magazine’s “1000th Number,” in the 1920s. It features Reed’s caricatures of (clockwise l to r): Lord Cave, Stanley Baldwin, Lord Salisbury, H.H. Asquith, David Lloyd George and Winston Churchill, all avidly reading The Bystander. The drawing measures 10 1/2 x 14 1/2 inches and is signed in pencil with Reed’s monogram. It has been handsomely matted and framed (22 x 29 inches overall).
