The 15th crime fiction novel by the author, but this time he deviates from his racetrack and horseracing to focus on the theft of art and antiques in Australia and New Zealand. Minor bumping to the head and to the heel of the backstrip and rubbing to the book corners. Light browning and foxing to the top text block edges and lighter browning to the other text block edges. Handling marks to the endpapers. Rubbing and creasing to the top and bottom dustwrapper edges. The laminate of the dustwrapper has started to peel back from the top right-hand corner of the front dustwrapper panel. The back panel has become yellow and shows handling marks.
