Folding map of the coast of the Colony of Liberia with an inset plan of Monrovia. xxvi, 42pp. with continuing text on the back inner and outer wrapper. 8vo, original green pr. wrs., wrappers lightly soiled, light foxing throughout. Washington: George C. Dunn, 1831. First Edition.<br/><br/> The bottom one inch of the map is lacking, with a small loss of the coast line and an eight inch strip by one inch strip of ocean. The bottom one inch of the front wrapper margin is lacking. The first 26 pages which contain the Proceedings are chipped on the bottom margin. Several pages report on the progress being made in the Colony of Liberia. The appendix lists the life members of the Society and the auxiliary colonization societies and their officers.<br/><br/>
