The author was one of a number of philosophers who visited Prague as part of a long-term Oxford project aimed at supporting underground philosophy seminars in communist Czechoslovakia; this volume contains four lectures, previously unpublished, and three published papers on Aristotle; the first two lectures on Plato's Republic were delivered in November, 1988, and the second two lectures on Aristotle's Ethics in May, 1992 (white paper-covered boards with black lettering and red stripe on the front, pages tanned; otherwise a bright, clean, tight copy). First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket.
