Identifying first Modern Library copies can be tricky since the copy right page is generally not updated with each edition. Toledano binding style #8 - with the torchbearer figure below the title field on the front cover board. This one does appear to be the first though as there was just the one edition before the volume was updated with two additional plays in 1960 - The Autumn Garden, and Another Part of The Forest. 5" X 7-1/8", 330 pages. The green cloth covered boards are flat, bottom right corner is worn and exposed, the remaining corner tips are just slightly worn. One word written on the first flyleaf - appears to be the name 'Tom'. No further writing besides that though, no writing on the text pages.
