Includes his 'Candida', 'Ceasar and Cleopatra', 'Pygmalion' and 'Heartbreak House'. The plays are unabridged, and with an introduction by Louis Kronenberger; each with a preface by the author. --- In Toledano spine 8 / red cloth / gilt titling on black spine & cover blocks / faded black topstain / grey Kent endpapers / jacket style i, verso lists 380 titles in ML catalog. Likely published c.1958 (though 1953 date appears in book). ML #19.3. --- A well-preserved copy: tightly-bound and clean but with prior owner's signature to verso of front free endpaper, chafing to cloth at head of spine and with faint scratch to front cover. Price-clipped dust jacket with small tear, chipping and rubbing to extremities, else intact and wrapped in removable archival mylar protector.; 12mo (7 to 7-1/2 in. tall) ; xii, 473 pages .
