Australian National University, Canberra, 1993. First Edition. Softcover. Very Good Condition. Wilfred David Borrie born in 1913, "Mick" to his schoolfriends, had an early career as a social historian but his research interests were moving consistently towards tomography and he was the obvious choice to begin this strand of the social sciences at the infinite Australian National University. At the time of the printing, he had celebrated his 80th birthday. A second-hand copy, no damage to describe. The book is illustrated with some photography, graphs and charts, and the final section is his career and achievements, and there are reproductions of his Doctor of laws, his citation for honorary degree, references to oral histories recorded, and a letter to him from the Minister of immigration and ethnic affairs in reproduction.
