Sunnyside, Orpington, Kent: George Allen, various dates: 1873-1895.. Hardcover. Very Good. Octavo, lavender cloth, backed in half gilt vellum, with morocco labels, top edge gilt. Complete in nine volumes, as follows: Volume I is the sixth edition, 1895. Volume II is the fourth edition, 1895 Volume III is the fourth edition, 1873. Volumes IV - IX, are first editions, 1874- 1887. Lengthy gift inscription repeated on first blank of each volume; uneven fading to the lavender cloth; some dust soiling to vellum and light chipping to edges of spine labels, (particularly to Volume I - see pictures), else a very good, handsome set in sturdy vellum bindings by Hartchards of Piccadilly. Heavy set, postage to be determined, based on destination and delivery standard required.
